At Newbridge United Football Club, we are deeply committed to maintaining high standards both on and off the field. We continuously strive to enhance these standards, ensuring that our coaches, players, and parents uphold the Club's values.

Annual General Meeting (AGM): Each year, we host an AGM to review the season and discuss plans for the future. This meeting is an important forum for open dialogue between parents and the Club management. During the AGM, our Club Chairperson addresses key topics such as expectations of players and coaches, the role of parents, plans for the Club's future, and more. All team managers also provide a report on player development over the season, and we encourage parents to engage and ask questions.

Parents:

Remember that children participate in sports for their enjoyment, not just to fulfill your expectations.
Encourage your child to play by the rules and respect officials' decisions.
Teach your child that effort and teamwork are as important as victory, so the outcome of each game is accepted without undue disappointment.
Appreciate good performance and skillful plays by all participants.
Never ridicule or shout at a child for making a mistake or losing a competition.
Support efforts to remove all forms of abuse in sport.
Recognise the importance of volunteer coaches and their contribution to the development of young players.

Players:

Play for the fun of it, not just to please others.
Play by the rules and respect the official's decisions.
Control your temper and behavior, both in and out of the game.
Treat all players as you would like to be treated. Do not bully or take unfair advantage.
Cooperate with your coach, team-mates, opponents, and officials.

Spectators:

Remember that young people play sports for their pleasure, not yours.
Applaud good performance and efforts from all individuals and teams.
Condemn the use of violence in any form and express disapproval of all foul play.
Show respect for your team's opponents; without them, there would be no game.
Encourage players to follow the rules and the officials' decisions.
Demonstrate appropriate social behavior by not using foul language or harassing players, coaches, or officials.

Photographic & Video Permission: Members consent to the use of their images in club promotional materials as part of their membership agreement. Any specific concerns about photography or video usage can be directed to our communications team.
